Windows Repair
Windows Repair is a fake antispyware program designed by computer hackers in order to rip ordinary computer users off. The application infiltrates with a help of a Trojan virus which is able to download and install the program completely secretly. Once inside Windows Repair imitates being a security application and uses all possible methods to get money from computer users.
At the very start when computer boots up, Windows Repair loads its scanner and imitates looking for infections. It generates a list of files and calls them infections though in fact it shows completely legitimate files or files that don’t exist at all.
Besides, the program causes thousands of pop up messages and security notifications which also falsely warn about various infections, etc. The purpose of such messages is also the same – to make computer user believe his system is infected and sell Windows Repair as a legitimate security tool.
