Windows Power Expansion
Windows Power Expansion is a rogue antispyware program that was designed by the computer hackers in order to steal some money from computer users. The application spreads on computers through a fake Microsoft Security Essentials alert. The message appears on the system out of nowhere and claims that your computer has been badly infected by a Trojan virus. If you agree to scan your system in order to remove that Trojan you will get Windows Power Expansion downloaded and installed to your system.
Windows Power Expansion will imitate scanning your system and tell that you have been infected by a bunch of various infections. The application will tell to get its license and activate the product so it could remove all detected threats. For this you will need to pay a certain amount of money. Unfortunately this money will go straight to the computer hackers.
Please get rid of Windows Power Expansion immediately after noticing it on your system. It’s not worth keeping in on your system. If you have fallen for the trick and paid for it already, contact your credit card company and dispute the charges.
