Windows Passport Utility is one more rogue antispyware program that infiltrates using a fake Microsoft Security Essentials alert in order to mislead computer user and make him purchase its fake application. People tend to trust in Microsoft name that’s why computer hackers decided to use it while creating Windows Passport Utility.
The program is promoted through various security notification messages and pop up ads. These warning appear on the system without a serious reason and claims that it is at risk. Then it attempts to infiltrate Windows Passport Utility to your system and use it as a legitimate antspyware tool.
The scanner, however, doesn’t work properly. It only imitates looking for infections and then displays files that don’t really exist or are legitimate as infections. The program still claims they are causing risk and recommends purchasing Windows Passport Utility.
