Volcano Security Suite
Volcano Security Suite is a fake anti-malware product that confuses the user of the compromised computer into believing it is a legitimate security application. When installed, the rogue program reports false infections and displays fake security alerts to scare the user and push him into purchasing the bogus software. To make this scam even more effective, Volcano Security Suite impersonates Windows Security Center and states that your computer is unprotected because anti-virus software is disabled. Of course, you should know that the real Windows Security Center does not promote any anti-virus programs, it only reports the security level of the system.
What is more, VolcanoSecuritySuite hijacks Internet Explorer and redirects the user of the infected computer to various misleading websites full of fake reviews or advertisements. The rogue program also disables Task Manager and System Restore making it even hardier to make system fully usable again. As you can see, Volcan Security Suite is a useless and harmful application. Please remove Volcano Security Suite rogue from your PC as soon as possible.
