Vista Security is a rogue application designed by cyber criminals to cheat computer users and convince them into purchasing a fake security tool. The main mean used to do that is giving fake information about threats detected on the computer and making the user think that the easiest and the most effective way to get rid of them is by purchasing Vista Security.
Firstly, Vista Security runs a fake scanner and displays fabricated results. Secondly, it generates various pop up ads which also give false information and offers purchasing a licensed version of Vista Security. Finally it hijacks your Internet browser and makes it impossible to surf the Internet. Other small inconveniences as computer slowdown are extremely annoying as well.
