Virus Sweeper is another rogue anti-spyware application. Virus Sweeper is obviously a copy of Virus Doctor – fake spyware remover. These two rogue applications are alike except different name. Virus Sweeper also uses malicious tactics and methods to scare the user and convince him to buy abosulutely worthless application. VirusSweeper is advertised through the use of trojan viruses. These trojans show various fake and annoying pop-up notifications about spyware, malware infections and security threats.
Once installed, Virus Sweeper continues misleading tactics. It runs fake system scan every time computer starts up. Of course scan results are intimidating. Virus Sweeper states that computer is seriously infected with various threats and that user should buy as full version of Virus Sweeper in order to remove all those infections. However, VirusSweeper is a scam. The main goal is to steal money from inexperienced and scared people. It won’t help you to remove any kind of infections and to ensure future protection against other attacks. Remove this parasite from the system immediately after detection, otherwise it can cause even more damage.Â
