Virus Remover 2009 – Be warned!
Virus Remover 2009 is another rogue anti-spyware application. It might be that VirusRemover 2009 is only a rename of VirusRemover 2008. However the main aim remains the same – to advertise worthless product hopping that inexperienced users will buy it. And this is nothing more than impudent fraud.
Virus Remover 2009 enters the system using trojan viruses without user’s permission. Also this rogue can be downloaded and installed manually, but this is less common case. After infection, VirusRemover2009 performs fake system scan and reports counterfeit results. It floods the system with obsessive pop-windows and alerts about infections that don’t exist. Actually, it’s just a well wilfuled plan how to scare the user. It seems that this money collection method still works, specifically with naive users. Of course, the best option would be to ignore similar information and remove Virus Remover 2009 from the system, because it is an infection itself.
