userinit.exe

This file can be dangerous and can be part of Windows Operating system. If file is located at C:\Program Files\system32\ than userinit.exe is a key process in the Windows operating system. When starting the computer it manages the different start up sequences needed, such as establishing network connection and starting up the Windows shell. And yes it is important and should not be terminated. However if file is located elsewhere it is a trojan known as Coban2k. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer from remote locations, stealing passwords, Internet banking and personal data. This file should be removed from your machine as soon as possible.
