Total Virus Protection – the infection worth mentioning
Total Virus Protection is a new rogue anti-spyware application. Like many similar rogue anti-spyware programs, TotalVirus Protection is also designed to trick the user into purchasing it’s full version. In order to achieve those evil intents, Total Virus Protection uses well known frighten tactics, hopping that user will be scared and will buy useless software.
Once installed and active, Total Virus Protection, starts fake scan and floods the system with obsessive pop-up windows and alerts notices about various infections, security or privacy issues. It’s hardly surprising that Total Virus Protection can only detect those fake infections and is unable to remove them due to trial version limitations. Of course paid version of this rogue can remove all the infections and even protect the system from other possible threats. However, Total Virus Protection actually is an infection itself, so It can not detect or remove any infections. Because of this, Total Virus Protection must be removed promptly after detection.
