Total Defender – fake spyware remover

Total Defender is a rogue anti-spyware, fake spyware remover. This parasite uses trojans to get it’s way to the system. Very likely those trojans are Zlob or Vundo type. Mostly they pretend to be Video ActiveX codecs. The main purpose of Total Defender is to trick money from inadvertent users.

When TotalDefender is active, it performs fake system scan automatically without user’s permision.  After that,  it floods system with pop-up windows about fake security problems, infections and privacy issues. Mainly, all the alerts that has been shown in those pop-up windows are fabricated. Basically, Total Defender is useless. It is strongly recommended to remove this parasite as soon as possible if already infected.
