Think Point
Think Point is a new creation of cyber criminals for stealing computer user’s money. It’s a program that imitates a security tool while in reality it’s a completely useless application. One more thing to be mentioned is that ThinkPoint is advertised using a fake Microsoft Security Essentials Alert which has been used for a while to infect with other rogue programs.
Think Point disables using any computer programs and only allows running its scanner. Once the scan is done, the program states to detect tons of infections and asks paying for its license so that it could remove all malicious files. Unfortunately, Think Point doesn’t detect any real system threats but only wants you to pay for its license. Once you reveal your credit card details, it will charge your card but you will not get anything in return.
You are strongly advised to get rid of Think Point as soon as you detect it on your system. It is nothing close to a legitimate antispyware tool so you shouldn’t even think about purchasing it.
