Soft Veteran

Soft Veteran (also known as SoftVeteran) is a rogue anti-spyware that has only bad intentions against all the computer users. This program attacks compromised machines secretly and loads tons of annoying and useless security notifications which are designed only to scare users and push them into purchasing its “full” version. There is nothing surprising that this tactics seems to be familiar because Soft Veteran is created just like earlier rogues from WiniGuard group – Soft Cop, Soft Soldier or Security Soldier.

As it was mentioned earlier, Soft Veteran is infiltrated through fake online scanners, Trojan viruses or browser hijackers without any notice of a user. When installed, this rogue anti-spyware slightly changes the system and creates its own files which later reports as a malware. For giving this fake information, fake scanners, security alerts or nag screens are displayed and unwanted browser’s activity interrupts user when using the Internet. All these fraudulent steps are concentrated for only one reason that is nothing else, but making people concerned about their computers’ security and convincing them to purchase the “full” version of Soft Veteran. Please, don’t spend your money for this scam because you will get nothing. Soft Veteran is useless and incapable to detect and delete any cyber infection. It is highly advised to remove Soft Veteran from your computer to prevent the damage that can be made by this rogue.
