Security Tool. Fake Anti-Spyware
Security Tool (also named as SecurityTool) is a fake spyware remover which is designed to ask the money for the removal of the cyber threats invented by the same program. Security Tool uses its legitimate name and appearance to trick the users into thinking that after scanning their computers numbers of different infections are detected and they all needs to be deleted immediately. Of course, for doing this, the “licensed†version is offered claiming that the trialware of this scam is not capable to clean the machine. However, purchasing Security Tool is not recommended in any reason, because this tricky and destructive malware will make much more negative influence to the computer.
Security Tool usually starts its malicious jobs with a help of Sitesecuritytest.com hijacker which changes the settings of the PC browser. The user is interrupted by fake scans and pop-up ads reporting about Trojans, worms and other malware detected and is redirected to the “official†Security Tool’s website to make a purchase. In truth, all the alerts should be ignored, because Security Tool is unable to detect any parasite. What is more, it highly recommended save your money and remove Security Tool right after noticing its fake notifications in your machine.
