Security Essentials 2010 is a fake security tool, a clone of infamous Internet Security 2010 that was spreading on the Internet a while ago. It infects computer using Trojans that are downloaded while installing flash updates. Security Essentials 2010 modifies Windows Registry which causes a flood of pop up ads and security notifications on your computer.
Besides, every time you run your computer, Security Essentials 2010 launches its scanner. Unfortunately the scanner is fake and is not able to detect any parasites.
