Scanner-pc-2012.com
Scanner-pc-2012.com is one more browser hijacker. The program reminds of a regular virus scanner, however, it doesn’t have any features of a real scanner and only seeks to promote Internet Security 2010 fake anti-spyware program. Once it hacks a targeted computer it changes the settings of a browser which cause replacement of your default homepage, blocking some Internet sites and, most importantly, constant redirection to Scanner-pc-2012.com scanner. The program looks just like My Computer window and displays some folders that you really believe they exist in your system. When the scan finishes it displays a list of potential threats but as soon as you try to remove them, you will get Internet Security 2010 forcibly installed into your system.
If it happens to you to become a victim of Scanner-pc-2012.com browser hijacker, remove it right after the first signs of it.
