SafetyKeeper
SafetyKeeper is the fake security application which foolishly alerts the user to find imaginary infections and then offers its services to remove them. Scammers created SafetyKeeper to increase their income and there is no connection to the PC protection which is promised to be increased after purchasing its “full†version.
Just like SaveKeeper, SystemCop, BlockDefense, SaveSoldier, this scam acts in the same malicious way. Firstly, it infiltrates itself through the backdoor techniques and there is no permission asked when it is done. Also, SafetyKeeper is distributed by its official website safetykeeper.com so you must pay attention if it happens for you to be redirected there. Once the PC is infected, this scam loads false notifications and untruth reports about malware detected and urges the user purchasing its “full†version. Don’t think about paying for this parasite because it will not make your PC work better. Please, remove SafetyKeeper as soon as possible!
