SafePcAv
Safe PcAv is a fake anti-spyware program that comes from a large WiniSoft malware family. It traditionally is promoted through the use of Trojans that pretend to be programs necessary to download in order to watch some videos online. When the Trojan is installed, it configures the rogue of SafePcAv to start automatically when you log in to Windows. The same Trojan also creates files with random names that are later detected as viruses when SafePcAv is scanning the system.
SafePcAv application starts scanning computer after each computer reboot. The program displays infections and suggests removing them by purchasing a full version of SafePcAv. However, this is a scam and the application is only trying to swindle your money. SafePcAv is also displaying tons of notifications that look exactly like messages by Windows Security Center. These notifications are displayed when you are browsing the Internet and state that the website you are visiting is infected. In addition, it offers purchasing SafePcAv program.
