Remove WindoFix
WindoFix is a rogue anti-malware which was recognized to renew its malicious actions recently. Also known as WindowFix, this fake Registry Repair is distributed through its official site windowfix.com where it is described to be a product which maintains system security and improves the speed of the computer. WindoFix aggressively promotes itself on other legitimate websites so there is no surprise that many computer users have been tricked into downloading this scam. However, all the users must bear in mind that WindoFix is not created for fixing registry errors. It must be removed immediately.
After being installed onto the PC system manually, WindoFix trialware starts its fraudulent activities. Firstly, it pretends to search the PC registry for the errors. No surprisingly that right after scanning WindoFix claims to find many problems there and offers the user the malicious solution how these errors can be removed. There is no doubt that user will be persuaded to purchase the full version of WindoFix which in reality is absolutelly useless. Do not believe any statement declared by this rogue and remove WindoFix right after detection.
These files must be removed: windofix.exe, unins000.exe, windofixsetup.exe, windofix on the web.url, unins000.dat, windofix.exe, unins000.exe, windofix.exe.
