PrivacyGuard Pro – fake spyware remover
PrivacyGuard Pro or Privacy Guard Pro 2.0 is another rogue application, fake spyware remover. As many other similar rogue, Privacy Guard Pro was designed to display fake information related to privacy problems and other security issues. The main goal of this parasite remains the same – to steal money from naive users.
Once installed and active, PrivacyGuardPro floods the system with obsessive pop-up windows and other similar alert notices claiming that user’s PC is seriously infected. Those fake infections were made up after fallacious computer scan. Cyber-thieves uses these tactics for a long time, but it seems that they somehow manage to find new victims. As usual, trial version of PrivacyGuard Pro con only detect infections. If user wants to remove those infections, he has to purchase registered version. The main problem is that the full version is also worthless. So, it is clear now, that PrivacyGuard Pro should be remove upon detection, otherwise it can cause more harm to the system.
