PCSweeperPro - a new rogue scam
PCSweeperPro is a new rogue anti-spyware program - a fake spyware remover, which uses scare tactics to intimidate the user and to create a reason for him to buy the program’s fake “licensed version”. PCSweeperPro usually infects the system by using trojans such as Zlob or Vundo. Upon infection, PCSweeperPro will flood the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to “inform” him that he is infected, which in reality he is not. The goal is to make a purchase.
