One More Rogue System Warrior
System Warrior is a parasite that will definitely try to make you scared about your computer’s security. Because it hails from the “famous†WiniSoft, SystemWarrior can be called a clone of Trust Warrior, Save Armor, System Veteran and many other malicious programs. It masks itself under the image of a legitimate and trustworthy security program and offers purchasing its “full†variant which in truth is worthless and useless like its unregistered version.
System Warrior deliberately creates fake malware files in the system just after being installed onto the compromised machine. For successful promotion this badware uses Trojans that masquerade themselves under the name of fake video codecs or flash updates. System Warrior is configured to start automatically, so before it detects its files, firstly this rogue pretends to scan the system. The user gets quite unpleasant scanning results and is usually frightened into purchasing the “licensed†version of this scam. The truth is that none of these warnings are real. System Warrior is a useless and must be threatened only by removing its files without wasting time.
