New rogue! Virus Alarm
Virus Alarm is a new rogue anti-spyware application. However, it is very similar to previous fake spyware removers. Virus Alarm is likely just a rename of another notorious spyware remover called Virus Melt or Virus Doctor. This parasite uses the noxious trojan Zlob to enter the system and it is usually advertised through misleading banners and pop-up windows on malicious websites.
Once installed, VirusAlarm runs fake system scanner and displays various bogus results, including malware, spyware and similar infections. It also states that system security is seriously compromised and suggests to buy a full version of Virus Alarm claiming that it will you to solve all those problems. Firstly, it is very important to realize that all those infections are fake. And secondly, purchasing Virus Alarm won’t help you to remove any infections. The third step should be already obvisous - Virus Alarm removal. Removal must be performed and completed as soon as possible. Removal delay may worsen the situation.
