My Security Wall Application
My Security Wall is a rogue anti-spyware program that spreads to computers with a help of Trojan viruses. Once inside, the program ads some entries into the Windows Registry and as a result your computer is flooded with fake security alerts and pop up ads. The messages claim that your system contains some files that pose risk and recommends removing them by purchasing My Security Wall application.
The program also runs a scanner and when it finishes, it displays a long list of supposedly infected files. These files were actually created by the Trojan that infected the system first and they are not damaging at all. All this is done just for one purpose – to convince the user of infected computer to purchase My Security Wall application.
