iSafe AntiVirus — another rogue application
iSafe AntiVirus is a rogue anti-spyware application that is very akin with other fake anti-spyware programs such as Antivirus Trigger and Astrum Antivirus. Mostly this rogue is promoted and installed via Zlob trojan which is presented as a video codec for online video viewing. But instead of video codec user infects his system with iSafeAntiVirus. Also this rogue spreads via online advertisements that pretend to be an online malware scanners. If the user clicks on that advertisement he is quickly redirected to the website which advertises iSafe Antivirus.
This fake application is configurated to start automatically when computer boots. iSafe AntiVirus performs system scan and then generates fake system infections and security risks. In order to remove infections user must purchase full version of this rogue. As mentioned before all the alerts shown by this rogue are fake. They just try to scare users into purchasing this fake anti-spyware application. We strongly recommend you to remove this rogue from your computer as soon as possible after infection.
