IronDefense
IronDefense is a fake antispyware application that imitates being a security tool though in fact has no useful functions at all. The program is advertised through fake pop up ads and that warns you about computer infections and offers you scanning your system online. Then it redirects to a website promoting IronDefense as a reputable antispyware program and offers purchasing it in order to protect your system.
When Iron Defense enters the system it is configured to start automatically with each computer reboot. It pretends to run system scan and reports about some infections that in fact do not even exist. Anyway, the reason of this is to make computer user think his system contains infections so that it could later offer purchasing its own full version by promising it will fix all your protection issues.
Do not trust IronDefense as it’s not a legitimate program. If you pay for it you will end up losing your money. Remove IronDefense right after noticing it on your system. For more information about IronDefense:
