Fake System Security Firewall Alert

System Security Firewall Alert is a bogus security alert displayed by a rogue anti-spyware program called System Security 2009. The “System Security Firewall Alert” states that your computer is infected with a worm called Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger. It claims that this worm tries to send your credit card details using Internet Explorer. This fake alert reads:

“System Security Firewall Alert. System Security Firewall has blocked a program from accessing the internet. Internet Explorer is infected with worm Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger. This worm is trying to send your credit card details using Internet Explorer to connect to remote host.

Location: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
Company: Microsoft Corporation
Version: 7.00.6000.16762
Activate System Security: To ensure continuous protection of your PC, you should activate System Security on this computer. Do you want to activate System Security now?”

If you’ll see this fake alert then this means that your computer is infected with System Security 2009. Firstly, you should ignore these fake security alerts. Secondly, you must remove System Security 2009 from your computer immediately, otherwise it will cause more damage to your computer.
