Dr. Guard
Dr. Guard is a rogue anti-spyware program that is downloaded and installed through the use of Trojan viruses. As soon as the program enters the system, it tries to protect itself from being removed by uninstalling various security tools, including NOD32, AVG8, AntiVir, Norton and other well known anti-spyware programs.
Dr. Guard uses its fake scanner and imitates to look for infections on the system. However, it is not able to detect real infections so the program displays a list of fabricated files that in reality don’t harm the system at all. Despite of that, Dr. Guard recommends getting a full version of a program and eliminating those “infectionsâ€. Besides, the program will keep attacking you with pop up messages announcing about fake infections, like Trojans, spyware, key loggers, etc. They will also include the suggestion to register your copy of Dr. Guard.
In no way agree to pay for this scam program. You must remove Dr. Guard from your system as soon as you can with a reputable anti-spyware program or manually following the removal instructions of Dr. Guard.
