Don’t Expect Any Help From RegTool
RegTool is a fake Windows registry cleaner which is highly advertised to be an award-winning advanced registry cleaner or even a downloadable computer technician. On its official websites, for example www.regtool.com, www.regtool.org or www.regtool.co.uk, RegTool is described to optimize system performance, delete suspicious files and fix registry errors so there is no surprise that many computer users are fooled into spending their money for this threat.
RegTool is installed manually, though there is a huge possibility to get this parasite with a help of Trojans and other malware. Right after getting in the PC, it starts publishing annoying alerts about registry errors and for removing them it aggressively recommends “licensed†RegTool version. However, do not trust this worthless application because is a totally worthless application. To avoid your PC damaged even more, remove RegTool as soon as it was detected on the PC system.
These files must be removed: regtool.exe, regtool5.dll, RegTool.lnk
