Desktop Security 2010
Desktop Security 2010 is rogue anti-spyware that belongs to the same creators as Total PC Defender. This application installs into the system without any notification or permission. Once inside it creates fake malware files and later detects them as infections when Desktop Security 2010 scans the system. The rogue starts automatically each time you reboot your computer and every time the same story is repeated.
First of all, Desktop Security 2010 runs the scanner and there’s no need to say that it displays fake scan results. The scan results show enormous number of infections detected and as soon as you try to get rid of them, Desktop Security 2010 redirects you to make a payment for the license of the product. Paying for Desktop Security2010 is the biggest mistake that you can make once faced with this application. You will only lose your money. Desktop Security 2010 also hijacks your Task Manager later displays security alerts about some Trojan detected. It will again ask to pay for Desktop security 2010 in order to fix it.
