Control Commander
Control Commander is a fake anti-spyware program that spreads to computer systems through Trojan viruses. The Trojans infiltrate through system vulnerabilities and Control Commander comes bundled with a Trojan.
Once inside, Control Commander scans computer for infections. In reality, it is not able to detect anything, so the program displays files created by the same Trojan right when it was infiltrating Control Commander. However, most computer users don’t know that, so they attempt to remove “infections”. Here is when Control Commander offers its services. It only asks to pay for its license and then it promises to fix your problems.
Control Commander additionally displays pop up ads and security notifications claiming that your system contains viruses and offering to purchase Control Commander as well.
You must remove Control Commander right after you notice it on your system. It’s a scam application that you definitely don’t need to have on your system.
