Beware of XP SecurityCenter
XP SecurityCenter is a rogue anti-spyware application. The rogue is advertised through the use of Trojans or malware. It might be also promoted on various malicious websites that offer fake online anti-spyware scanners or malware removal tools. Once installed, XP SecurityCenter creates fake malware files that later will be detected as infections by the rogue itself, whereas, usually fake spyware removers display legitimate Windows files as possible threats.Â
Once active, XPSecurityCenter performs fake system scan and displays a variety of bogus infections that can not be removed without a licensed version of this parasite. This bogus application will also flood the system with fake security alerts and privacy violation notifications. However, we strongly recommend to ignore such fake notifications and infections, because XP Security Center is a scam. The main goal of this parasite is to scare users and make them buy this totally worthless application. Instead, remove XP SecurityCenter  from your computer immediately. Remember, removal delay may only worsen the situation, because XP SecurityCenter can download even more malware onto your computer.Â
