AV Defender
AV Defender is a malicious security application that is installed to computers secretly through Trojan viruses that spread on malicious Internet pages. The program cause lots of inconveniences such as pop up messages and security notifications which warn about nonexistent infections and tells to remove them by purchasing a full version of AV Defender.
The application is configured to start automatically when computer boots. It uses a fake scanner that imitates looking for infections. Then it displays a list of supposedly detected threats and recommends removing them by downloading a full version of AV Defender which you need to pay for. The truth is that such version doesn’t even exist but the creator of AV Defender infections want to gain money from computer users by cheating.
