ASC AntiSpyware – another obsessive infection
ASC AntiSpyware is another rogue anti-spyware application, fake spyware remover. As many similar rogue anti-spyware, this one also uses scare tactics. The main goal of this parasite is to frighten the user and steal money from him. Sadly, but this scheme seems to work. Very often user believes that his computer is seriously infected and tries to fix it, but chooses wrong product to accomplish this task.
ASCAntiSpyware gains access to the system through the infamous Zlob trojan, which exploits browser’s security holes. After infection, ASC AntiSpyware performs quick scan and reports fake information about system’s security problems, privacy issues and other infections. Then scammers recommends to purchase a full copy of this rogue, because trial veriion has several limitations and will leave some infections unremoved. Obviously the worst happens when user decides to buy this useless application, because in reality it won’t remove anything. So, be smart and delete ASC AntiSpyware from PC as soon as possible.
