APcDefender
APc Defender is a fake antispyware that people should stay away from in order to avoid computer problems. The application is again based on trojans and designed to steal people’s money.
It basically works like this. A user downloads some video codecs and gets infected by APcDefender Trojan. The Trojan is installed into the system and then APc Defender starts scanning your computer. It falsifies the scan results and makes you believe that it has found many dangerous threats. Then APcDefender gives you the only solution – to purchase a licensed version of the program. Stay away from purchasing it, as it will not solve anything. The detected infections are false and they do not do any harm to your PC, so if purchasing the program you will only lose your money.
If it is too late and you have already became a victim of APcDefender, contact your credit card company to dispute charges and remove APcDefender from your computer. Do not make profit to the creators of fake antispyware.
