Antivirus 2010 is much more dangerous than regular corrupt anti-virus. It uses new tactics to gain trust and milk money for non-existent services. Antivirus2010 is a malware. It isn’t capable of scanning a computer or deleting threats or protecting a system, nevertheless its advertisements claim that Antivirus 2010 can do all these things and many more. Reality is quite different from the slogans used by Antivirus 2010.
Antivirus2010 is advertised by pop-up advertisements loaded on various websites. The pop-ups are smartly masked to look like security notifications; they offer online scan to check the things on board user’s computer. If user gets interested in running the scan, he is given fake results and offered downloading Antivirus2010. The online promotion is fraudulent: it doesn’t do any system check or scan and simply displays fabricated results. If downloaded, Antivirus 2010 is very difficult to delete.
Once user installs Antivirus 2010, the things turn even worse. This malware loads pop-ups all over the screen urging people to buy a full version of the software. It uses intimidating tactics to ensure that users agree to pay for the product: Antivirus 2010 reports many infections found on a computer.
Antivirus2010 is capable of crashing a system. It loads fake Blue Screen of Death and informs people that MS Windows recommends purchasing Antivirus 2010 for deleting dangerous malwares. If you happen to be in situation described above, keep in mind that Antivirus 2010 is the one that should be removed.
