Antivirus2008Pro, a.k.a. Antivirus 2008 Pro, is a new rogue anti-spyware program being unleashed on the Web. Essentially, it is a fake spyware remover that uses scare tactics to frighten the user that he/she is infected and therefore needs a tool to dispose of the non-existent threat. The scan reports produced by Antivirus2008Pro reports are obviously falsified and are designed to mislead the user so he’d purchase the “full†version of this parasite.
