We can assume that this parasite is nothing more than just a copy of Antivir System PRO. Antivirus System 2009 is classified as rogue application, because it is installed onto a computer without user’s knowledge and permission through the use of Trojans. The rogue is also advertised on doubtful websites that offer free online anti-malware scanners. Anyhow, Antivirus System 2009 is a scam. Like many simalar parasites, this one is also designed to scare the owner of the infected computer into purchasing AntivirusSystem 2009.
Once Antivirus System 2009 is installed, it will be configured to scan your computer automatically every time it boots up. It’s a common method used by almost all rogue anti-spyware applications out there. And that’s not all yet. OnceAntivirusSystem 2009 will also flood the system with very annoying and fake security notifications and privacy alerts. The main purpose of those alerts is of course to make a wrong impression that your computer is seriously infected, though all those infections are actually false.
