Antivirus 2009
Antivirus 2009 is an anti-spyware application that is very similar to Antivirus 2008. It basically spreads through misleading websites that make you think you got infected with viruses. Do not install it as you may end up with a malware.
When Antivirus 2009 is installed it will scan your system for errors and states that it detected various infections. These infections are not harmful. However Antivirus 2009 will claim that you need to purchase the software in order to remove the spyware.
When using some Internet browsers, it may also display fake messages saying that some infections on your computer were detected. It is also false information which should make the users buy Antivirus 2009 software.
