Another rogue called XP Police Antivirus
XP Police Antivirus is another fake anti-spyware application. Very often this parasite is installed without user’s permission. Mostly this is done by trojan Zlob or Vundo. Also user can install it by mistake from XPPolice Antivirus homepage.
Regardless of how XP Police Antivirus has entered the system, it uses the same old and well know scheme. Every time user starts his PC this rogue performs quick scan and floods system with pop-up windows about fake system infections and security problems. Of course all the information that has been announced earlier is trumped-up. Only inexperienced users can believe that those infections really exist. Other people will recognize this as scam. And this is the right thing to do. XPPoliceAntivirus is infection itself. Remove it without hesitation.Â
