Another rogue anti-spyware application called Threat Nuker
Threat Nuker is yet another fake spyware remover. The main goal of this parasite is to collect money from naive people. To achieve this evil purpose, ThreatNuker uses well known tactics how to scare the user and force him to buy worthless product. Threat Nuker enters the system using trojan viruses. These trojans are advertised as video codecs needed for video preview.
Once installed and active, Threat Nuker floods the system with many pop-up winodws and other alerts, motslty about various infections and security problems, which of course don’t exist. Those infections were made up in order to scare the user, hopping that he will buy Threat Nuker for infections removal. The truth is that Threat Nuker is unable to remove any infections. Whats is more, Threat Nuker is an infections itself and must be removed as soon as possible after detection, otherwise it can flood the system completely or install more malware.
