A new spyware – USBcillin
A new security product for USB drives is USBcillin, which is presented to protect a computer from viruses spreading through removable media devices. USBcillin is said to block malicious autorun.inf processes.
PC users should know that this tool is not anti-virus and it works opposite, as a virus. The way this software acts is changes various registry entries and affects computer’s performance speed. USB cillin is dangerous for a PC so it is advisable avoid installing it.
To get rid of this spaware, USBcillin sites need to be blocked, processes must be stopped and removed, DLL files unregistered, all other USBcillin files and registry utility must be searched and deleted. By using “Add or Remove Programs†service PC users can easily remove USBcillin software but it must be remembered that some of USBcillin files, running processes and registries may be hidden, so USB cillin may recreate all those files after reboot.
